Ryan Lugo is the founder of IQ Dog Training and the driving force behind its vision. With over six years of hands-on experience, Ryan began his professional journey in Utah, training under a respected police dog instructor Tim Adams. His work spans police K9 units, protection training, working dogs, and family pets. Ryan has mastered both positive reinforcement and balanced obedience training, creating a well-rounded approach that gets lasting results. In early 2023, he relocated IQ Dog Training to Whittier, California, bringing his proven methods to the Los Angeles area.

Alex Rojas, our Head Trainer, brings unmatched expertise in canine behavior and high-level working dog training. With a background in security dog work and scent detection, Alex has served as a K9 handler specializing in bomb detection and holds certification from the Houston K-9 Academy. There, he became an expert in canine psychology and behavior modification. Alex has worked extensively with aggressive, fearful, and high-drive dogs, leading our training programs with skill, precision, and a passion for helping dogs succeed.
